I have a love-hate relationship with the manga Buyuden. It is interesting at points *spoiler*, like how Moka comes back after needing eye surgery after losing a match to the lead guy, but then openings like these kinda suck, especially the 2nd girl to join since Moka was already in the club; not really a big surprise when more than 1 woman goes outside her normal gender role. At least they felt Moka was worthy of fan service despite saying how fat she became after temporarily giving up boxing.
A few kind words can truly make a difference. Better sense of being healthy if a person is happy with themselves and takes responsible steps in maintenance rather than kill themselves with starvation and exercise.
This comic would be ten times better if it was one page longer.
Ugh, the typical stereotype of “plus size = lost popularity”.
Pages from “Nibble, Nibble”, Jingle Belle #1, written by Paul Dini, art by Jose Garibaldi and Stephanie Gladden.
From the comic “Panda No Ko”. The protagonist meets a girl who eats constantly; she figures that if she does it too, she’ll end up with the same figure: slim with big breasts. She gorges herself on ten pizzas. Things don’t quite go as planned.
